Andriy Haidamashko
Country Director / IDEA Ukraine Project Director

Andriy Haidamashko joined PH International in August 2012. Before it, he worked for UNICEF Ukraine where he managed its child protection program and dealt with issues related to family care for orphaned children, juvenile justice, and prevention of violence against children and domestic violence. He also provided consultancy services to UNICEF on evaluation of EU – UNICEF funded child care project. Andriy has practical experience in economics, local governance, corporate, and NGO sectors. His previous jobs included an economist position at electronics manufacturing company, dealing with youth social and economic issues when working at Khmelnytsky City Youth Department. Andriy also used to work at government and community relations positions at Philip Morris Ukraine and dealt with investment development, technical permits and company’s social projects at its head office in Kyiv and production site in Kharkiv. As programs’ coordinator at Canada-Ukraine Partners Office, and Ukrainian charity fund ‘Community Energy’, Andriy managed a range of CIDA-funded public administration projects addressing Ukraine’s economic, environment, fiscal, social, and community development challenges. Andriy has a Bachelor degree in Economics and Master’s in Public Administration. He looks forward to applying his experience and drive for result to further development of PH International programing in Ukraine.
