02.04.2014 | idea | Talented master - a successful entrepreneur
Alla ( 28) talks about her experience of participating in the project: "By education, I am an English teacher. However, no vacancies were available, so I had to look for a work. I had a hobby, however, - making handmade dolls. Recently, I went to IDEA training center in Ivano-Frankivsk, where I took graphics courses. Besides, I learned about opportunities to realize my interests towards entrepreneurship. Trainers of the IDEA center shared success stories of other participants, so I decided to try. I placed photos of dolls I made in the Internet, and registered with several relevant forums. And recently I received the first orders... I am grateful to the project, and I hope that my new venture will bring me success."

31.03.2014 | idea | Now I myself assist other accountants with reporting
Nadia Hryvinska (24), a participant of project trainings in Ivano-Frankivsk shares her experience in the project: "My name is Nadia, and I'm an accountant by profession. Unfortunately because of the crisis, a brick factory where I worked was closed, and I had no job. After learning about IDEA Project Powered by Microsoft YouthSpark from NGO "Business Award Foundation" in Ivano-Frankivsk, I took part in its trainings on the use of Internet in business. The trainings covering such topics as online marketing channels: ads, forums, social media promotion, advertising; looking for suppliers and optimization of internal production processes; the use of cloud technologies for financial recording and reporting. Thanks participation in these trainings, I got the knowledge and the ability to carry out accounting consultations online. Even now, after finishing the trainings, I continue receiving assistance from the IDEA Center – I use its office space and have access to computers. This makes my new job a lot easier as now I myself help other accountants with reporting via email. Hopefully, this is the beginning of my real business, and I thank the project for this opportunity!

22.03.2014 | idea | Studying+work=success in life
Marina (18) from the city of Vinnitsa talks about her experience of participating in the project: "Back in 2013, while studying at Vinnytsia secondary school # 30, I participated in a job search training conducted by Vinnitsa City NGO 'Parostok' (Sprout). The training took place within IDEA Project Powered by Microsoft YouthSpark. Trainers of 'Parostok' gave us a lot of useful information, and especially interesting for me was information about job search via the Internet. After graduating from my school, I continued to study at a university, but I also wanted to find a part-time job - students always have some free time, and I wanted it to use with productively. And the knowledge of resume writing, job interview, and job search sites that I had received from 'Parostok' was very handy. Plus, I'm a creative personality in life, and I always had a talent for writing interesting texts. As a result, I have recently found a job through the site http://rabota.ua/ - now I am a copywriter at a small company. I have an interesting job and I am very grateful to IDEA Project Powered by Microsoft YouthSpark and 'Parostok' for the knowledge that I have gained!"

12.03.2014 | idea | Building a business without investing a lot of money
Svitlana S. (24): "Without investing large sums of money, I was able to organize a small business - a small massage office. Office, probably, is still a too ambitious name, but in small steps, by trial and error, I created a base of loyal customers who trust me and come regularly. What helped me was massage training courses that I took but also a training taken within the project "IDEA support for Microsoft YouthSpark". There, I learned on how to write a business plan. Practical skills plus knowledge of the theory combined with my maximum desire gave its results. Today, I am certain in my future."
