Georgia | Georgia Community Action and Linkages for Legal Socialization | 4 May 2015

The second panel session of Civic Responsibility Board was held on May 3 at RICDOG office in Kutaisi. According to the rules, all the participants are assigned specific roles, so during the session, as well as other activities, they were dressed accordingly. Four groups of students (Active Citizens, Passive Citizens, Responsible Citizens and Experts) presented resolutions they worked on during several weeks. Presentations were followed by a roundtable discussions, where representatives of all four groups began working on common resolution. The groups announced consultation breaks two times. During the breaks, representatives returned to their groups and further discussed resolution articles. After 4-hour work, the resolution was approved. The name of the document is On Creation of Healthy Environment for Proper Development of Juveniles. After the session, participants received feedback from Board facilitator. Feedback session lasted for about an hour. Before closing the second phase of the program, participants will hold presentations and various civic activities to raise awareness on resolution and program. By the end of May, most active members will be revealed and awarded. The third phase of the program will start in Mid-May, with a new case to discuss and new roles for the participants. The project is implemented by Research-Intellectual Club Dialogue for Generations (RICDOG), supported by PH International Georgia’s GE CALLS program, funded by The US Department of State’s International Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL).
