9th graders visit MIA Police Academy

Georgia | Georgia Community Action and Linkages for Legal Socialization | 29 Nov 2013

On November 29, GE CALLS 2013 within the framework of GE Calls project, ninth grade students of 64th public school with teacher and district police officer visited the academy of MIA. At the academy they attended the presentation “education in Academy” where they learned about the process and stages of becoming a police officer. Students also visited classrooms, gyms, shooting range and mock court room and mock customs. The school was personally greeted by the rector of an academy. This type of activities along with the Legal Culture lessons, that are delivered by the teacher and police officer trained within the GE Calls program, helps students to discover the working process of law enforcement structures.
