30.11.2015 | Studying in the US Is Just a Step Away

Back in the fall of 2015 Dianne gathered all her courage and registered in the first round of the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) competition. She was sure nothing would come out of it, but decided to give it a try for the sake of experience. Today she is a semi-finalist and waits to hear about the final results in April 2016. “I am so very lucky to be part of the Access program. One thing I can say for sure is that it is very different from all my other classes. Access is much more fun and much more interesting,” chimes Dianne. “I can’t believe I‘m just one step away from being a finalist of the FLEX program. You know, I would not even be a participant in the competition if it weren’t for my teachers. They insisted that I should give it a try. I am so, so very grateful that they did!” she voiced, showing her excitement. “I feel that I have 24 friends (sorry, 26 including the teachers) who I can trust and count on at all times. Access is my family!” she concluded and wiped a tear from her cheek.
