Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 24 Apr 2014

Students in the village Bakhvi, Guria region cooperated with local Government to improve environment near the school. Based on the request of students, local administration provided special technical equipment and cleaned a large territory around the school from stones and other remains. Territory was fenced with the support from ACETT mini-grant. Community provided 300 seedlings of nuts, which have also been planted on the territory. Students are going to pay attention to the newly-planted nut plantation and plan on generating income to support their future projects.
