Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 5 May 2014

Civics club students organized exhibition of paintings by children with disabilities at the local Art Gallery. Students worked to prepare for the event, conducted informational campaign, collected the data about the number of children with disabilities and surveyed their needs. Exhibition opened on March 28. Visitors included students, parents, teachers, school administration and local Government officials and media. Administrators of the gallery awarded young authors of the paintings with gifts and certificates. Activity was carried out in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program, which is implemented by PH International in Georgia.
