Civics Students Promote Volunteering

Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 1 May 2014

Since January, students from 15 school-based civics clubs in Adjara volunteered in different non-Governmental and state organizations to benefit their communities. These organizations included House of Justice, Day Center for Children with Disabilities, Batumi Education Development and Employment Center and others. Students have presented photos and videos reflecting their volunteering experience at the exhibition held at Batumi State University. These materials have deserved attention of many visitors of the exhibition. Activities were implemented in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program, which is implemented by PH International in Georgia.
