Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 28 Apr 2014

Conferences of civics teachers were held in all 11 regions of Georgia covering a total of 360 teachers nationwide. Teachers had opportunity to review draft Civic Education Development Strategy, which was developed in Tbilisi with participation of the Civics Teachers Forum and other state and non-Governmental organizations in early 2014. Upcoming plans and immediate priorities of the Civics Teacher Forum were also discussed at these conferences. Participants spoke about the membership fees, covered their future expectations towards the Forum and reviewed the agenda of the upcoming National Civics Teachers’ Fair-Conference, which will take place in Tbilisi in May 2013. Conferences were organized in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program, which is implemented by PH international in Georgia.
