Students Action for Safety at Railways in Batumi
On January 18, civics club students of Batumi public school #2 organized action “Attention train! Follow safety rules!” The idea to conduct this activity rose after the students visit to the Rail Division of the West Georgia in the framework of ACETT program. The representatives of the Rail Division said that the main problem is that there is lack of the information among the people about the safety rules on the railway stations and that causes a lot of accidents.
Students by support of the representatives of Rail Division organized an action and distributed printed material informing people about the importance of following the safety rules at the railways.
