Meeting in the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia

On December 12, 2012 Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Mr. Aluda Goglichidze and other representatives of the Ministry had a meeting with the representatives of pupils’ self-government bodies from Tbilisi and other regions, members of school civic clubs and winners of school Olympiads and tournaments.’ The meeting was held by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, unity alliance of school pupils’ unions of Georgia. The project was supported by The Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program (ACETT) implemented by PH International and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The topic of the conversation was about activities of school civic clubs and pupils’ self-government bodies. Students made presentations on their activities and discussed already achieved results of implemented projects. Representative of alliance of pupils’ unions of Georgia discussed the role of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in the process of reinforcement of civic clubs and pupils’ self-government bodies and made certain recommendations.
