With the ELCE Program ELTT, Peter Bohan and ELCE alumnae teacher Elene Changelia (from Tsalenjikha Public School #1) taking the lead, ELCE Program students breathed life into a staged performance of “Poetry is the Heart of Mine”, based on the life story of famous Georgian poet and scholar Terenti Graneli. Elene Changelia not only directed the play, but also wrote the original script. Over 100 people attended the premiere of the English performance of this original production staged at Zugdidi National Drama Theater on June 11, 2013. The Zugdidi National Drama Theater hosted the event without any charge. Among the special guests of the day were Jeremy Richart, U.S. Embassy Press Attaché as well as representatives of Zugdidi local administration and ELCE alumni teachers from Samegrelo region.

On June 9, PH organized the final integrated workshop at Batumi State University during which the ELCE Program Cycle 3 participants from Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, and Batumi gathered for the delivery of Module 10 of the ELCE curriculum. The Final integrated workshop was also attended by the representatives from PH/GE, ETAG and GU/CLED.

With support from the IDEA Project Powered by Microsoft YouthSpark, a seminar with the 4th grade students of the Crimea Institute of Business (Simferopol) was conducted on organizational and regulatory issues of private entrepreneurship. The seminar was directed at helping young people to start their own business in case of problems with finding a job.

On May 11, 2013 the Second National Fair-Conference of the Civics Teachers’ Forum was held at exhibition center in Tbilisi.

In April 2013 ACETT students took part in youth forums in all regions of Georgia. Youth Forums provided students with a great opportunity to identify the needs, critical for their schools and communities and address local decision-makers with these problems.

Civics integration camps for students were held in Rustavi and Bakuriani in April 2013. A total of 48 students and 24 civics teachers took part in camp activities and developed joint projects which they will carry out in their schools and communities.

The English Language through Civic Education (ELCE) program in Georgia has started to map its areas of impact using Google Maps, a highly useful social media tool. The ELTTs were asked to mark the schools in their region where they have worked with teachers. Once all these are entered there will be a full picture of the geographic impact of the program.

On May 17, students of Tbilisi Public School #22 visited Forensic-Criminalistics Main Division of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia..

Inspired by the topic of one of the ELCE Program modules, volunteerism, on May 20 with the ELCE participant teachers in the lead, students from Senaki Public Schools # 1 and #4 collected clothes, food, snacks and other gifts for donation to Disabled Children's Home in Senaki. Music and dance performed by ELCE program participant students brightened the day of the children and was a rewarding experience for all who attended.

During a seminar 'Job Search Algorithms' that took part within the IDEA Project Powered by Microsot YouthSpark, 26 participants - mostly youth, got familiar with job search basics as well as next stages of employment.
