TPD-TEL Program English Language Conference was held in Yerevan on December 3, 2016. This event gave the teachers a chance to showcase their successes, ‘try on’ the teacher trainers’ suit and demonstrate new learning acquired throughout the program. As demonstrated by conference presentations, the TPD-TEL group made tremendous strides towards becoming effective teachers and even teacher trainers. The overall ability to plan a lesson/workshop with a lesson/activity demonstration followed by processing was strong. Their ability to facilitate and ask the right questions had also markedly improved. The topics they chose demonstrated a clear awareness of what their fellow teachers need. By the end of the day, all the teachers were exchanging hopes for possible future interactions through next level professional development opportunities. The succession of the TPD-TEL program activities (Winter Camp, Summer Institute and Final Conference) demonstrated the best practices in providing application of knowledge, accountability, follow-up, and opportunities to measure growth as well as personal and professional development.
