PH International in Ukraine

PH International has worked in Ukraine for more than two decades and has maintained a permanent representative office in Kyiv since 2015. PH Ukraine has implemented programs focused on youth development, education, leadership, and entrepreneurship, including the Police as Leaders in Athletics for Youth (PLAY Ukraine) initiative with the Juvenile Prevention Police and English Access Microscholarship programs supported by the U.S. Department of State.


As Ukraine continues to face the impacts of war, PH is supporting efforts to strengthen youth protection, community resilience, and the rule of law. Through the Justice for Ukrainian Youth program, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, PH worked with Ukrainian criminal justice professionals, local communities, and government partners to strengthen the investigation and prosecution of war crimes affecting children and promote awareness of justice, accountability, and legal protections.
