English Language Online Course for English Teachers (2022-2025)

Funded by the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, the English Language Multimedia Online Course for English Teachers and Those Seeking to Become English Teachers strengthens English language education in Georgia by equipping current and aspiring teachers with advanced language skills and modern teaching practices.

The program developed a 20-week multimedia curriculum on the Canvas learning platform, combining 80 hours of live online instruction with 80 hours of self-paced learning. Created by an American English Language Specialist and Georgian curriculum experts, the course prepares approximately 160 English teachers and teacher candidates to improve their English proficiency, strengthen classroom instruction, and expand educational opportunities for students across Georgia.
