On November 13, PH International organized a workshop for the regional implementing partner NGOs of the Momavlis Taoba Program (MT).
Representatives of eleven partner organizations from all regions of Georgia took part in the workshop and discussed the plans and upcoming activities to advance school-based civic education in their respective regions and promote greater civic engagement of young people. Partners received detailed information about resources for students, teachers and schools, allocated within the framework of MT project. Parties have also discussed the plans of collaboration with the Civic Education Teachers Forum for expanding and institutionalizing secondary school civics education curricula and practical applications.
Workshop participants have agreed that the regional launch events of the MT project will be soon held in all eleven regions of Georgia to inform the schools involved in the project about the new resources and opportunities provided by MT for improving the quality and scope of school-based civic education.
