Access Students in Birobidzhan Win City English Contest | 30 Jan 2012

Eight out of nine possible nominations within the framework of the city Championship in English were given to Access students. It is a big achievement for a small (only 20 students) and relatively new program (started in 2010). To add to this success, two students made it to the third round of FLEX competition. Last year one student from Birobidzhan Access participated in FLEX program in the U.S. and his experience inspired his peers to apply to this program.

In January 2012, Anya Botogova and Oleg Zheurov, Access students from Staropol, went to “Orlyonok” Children’s Center for a two-week training to become volunteers for Sochi-2014 Olympics.

Minister of Education of Russia Was Amazed by Students’ Skills | 30 Sep 2011

Andrey Fursenko, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation and the President of the Republic of Dagestan, Magomedsalam Magomedov, participated in the republican teachers’ conference in Makhachkala on August 25th, on the eve of a new academic year. At the request of the conference organizers, Mikhail Nokhov, ACCESS program coordinator from Khasavyurt, and his students presented to important guests on how they use new technologies in the classroom.
