Students of Tbilisi public school #79 support peers with special education needs
Students of Tbilisi public school #79 arranged a resource room for peers with special education needs, held a consultation meeting with the school psychologist, and took part in various games with them to support their integration in society.
Students held a public awareness campaign about the rights and needs of people with disabilities, and prepared material that was then spread through the community.
Students also visited the Social Therapy House, where people with disabilities have already been employed in as many as in 8 workshops. Through the students’ initiative, donations from various companies were presented to the employees of this institution.
