International High School Students from 40 Countries Design Social Change Campaigns
GNML Online has engaged over 200 students from over 41 countries since the program launched in October 2014! In session #2 of the online course, students identified a social issue in their home communities and began designing a Social Media for Social Change campaign to address it. Campaigns range from anti-bullying initiatives in schools; teaching technology to senior citizens; and urging their community members to recycle. Now with session #3 completed, students have created blogs to serve as hubs for their social change campaigns.
