Students in Tskemliskhidi supported the rights of the street children

School-based civics club students of village Tskhemliskhidi, spent a day with street children to know better how they live and survive on the streets and to learn their problems and public attitude towards them.

The students gathered information about the services that are provided by the government for supporting street children. The civics club members organized a meeting with the representatives of health care organizations, local government, social workers of Ozurgeti municipality and discussed if the state-provided services meet real requirements of the street children.

The civics club students visited local day center and family-type home, presented school items to their beneficiaries and spent a merry time with them.
