Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 11 Nov 2013

School based civics club students of Samtskhe-Javakheti region implemented project “Bridge of Friendship”. Idea of the event was initiated at Civics Integration Camp by the students of Georgian and Arminian schools. Various activities were organized to support integration of the students from different ethnic backgrounds, including festival demonstrating cultural and traditional nuances of the ethnic groups, cleaning action mobilizing students, teachers and parents of the different schools and competition of school teams in sports, promoting healthy lifestyle. All the participants of these events were awarded with certificates. Initiative was organized by ACETT project grantee NGO.
