Civic Club Students are mobilized for the Black Sea Coast Cleaning Action in Adjara Region

On September 17, 2013 ACETT Civics Club members from Batumi #14 public school initiated the Black Sea coast cleaning action “Protect Black Sea, Live with Healthy lifestyle”. 50 members of ACETT Civics clubs alliance, representing different civic clubs from Adjara region were actively involved in the initiative. In the frame of the event ACETT civics clubs students cooperated with the Head of Adjara Environment Protection Department, with the Director of City Batumi Boulevard and Head of Sanitary Cleaning Service Department of Adjara Region. As a result of successful cooperation local authorities supported students and placed banner at sea coast territory and provided students with necessary equipment for cleaning the sea coast, including gloves, bags and special uniform. Students also worked with the local NGO - Wild Nature Protection Society, which prepared and delivered information brochures on environmental protection issues.
