Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 14 Aug 2013

On July 23, 2013 Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Committee of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of the Parliament of Georgia and Civics Club of village Chkhari Public School on conducting joint ecological projects and activities. The ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding was held in the Parliament of Georgia and was hosted by Chairmen of the Committee of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Mr. Giorgi Tsagareishvili and his Deputy Mr. Bidzina Gujabidze. The event was attended by civics students, civic teachers, parents and school administration, in total 45 people attended. During the event, presenters underlined the importance of the youth involvement in the ecological projects and initiatives.
