Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 22 May 2013

Civics integration camps for students were held in Rustavi and Bakuriani in April 2013. A total of 48 students and 24 civics teachers took part in camp activities and developed joint projects which they will carry out in their schools and communities. Camps brought together Georgian youth with their ethnic Armenian and Azeri peers from different partner schools of ACETT program. Students took part in intercultural activities and worked together to develop civics projects on children’s rights, healthy lifestyle, volunteering, non-formal education and integration of children with disability into the society. These projects will be supported by ACETT and local municipalities. Civic integration camps for youth were held in the framework of Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program (ACETT), which is implemented by PH International in Georgia.
