Online Conference with Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia

On April 24, 2013 online conference was held at Tbilisi Multimedia Education Center in the framework of the USAID-funded Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program. The guest of the conference was Mr. Aluda Goglichidze, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, who answered Tbilisi civics club students’ questions, as well as the questions received through the SKYPE from the students from 10 regions of Georgia. During the online conference, Deputy Minister shared his views about the importance of civic participation by young people. The main message of the conference was involvement of students in the life of a democratic society, participation of students in identification of critical for them problems and their efforts to find solutions to these problems, that, in turn, will help to increase their leadership skills and participation skills.
