Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 7 Jul 2011

Student civics camp was launched on June 30 in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program (ACETT). Camp brought together 85 leader students and civics teachers from 9 regions of Georgia in Bazaleti to share experiences, develop collaborative projects for civic engagement, learn more about volunteerism, independent initiative and advocacy. During their 5 days in a camp, students and their teachers met with prominent guests, attended trainings, made new friends and enjoyed activities for fun and leisure. Last day of the camp featured presentation of the newly-developed student projects to promote good citizenship and greater civic engagement among youth across many regions of Georgia.
