Armenia Tavush Outreach Program (2019-2024)

The goal of the “Tavush Outreach Project” was to increase understanding of U.S. politics, culture, and values among youth and young adults living in the Tavush Region of Armenia. This was achieved by offering English language and other instruction to approximately 5,465 young Tavush citizens and providing diverse capacity building programs throughout the region. As a result of these activities, program participants gained competence in English language as they learned about the U.S. and the practices of democracy and active citizenship while also acquiring hard and soft skills that will assist them in their daily lives.
