ZANG Program in Armenia Extends the Scope of Its Partnerships
Similar Memorandums were already signed with Alaverdi's Toumanyan Filial of Yerevan North University and Ijevan State University, and in near future the number of ZANG program partnerships with Higher Education Institutions will grow.
Under the signed Memorandums students of partner institutions will attend the local Community Justice Centers established by the ZANG program and within their internships will assist the CJC teams in their works with juvenile offenders referred to their CJC. The students will explore restorative justice key concepts and successful models that the CJCs have adopted in their work based on international practice. They will also be offered adolescent mentoring training sessions and the most promising students will be assigned to the CJC juveniles as mentors.
