Congratulations to 40 Access Students from Tavush! | 1 Dec 2022


After the successful completion of English Access Microscholarship Program in Ijevan and Bagratashen communities of Tavush region in September 2022 the U.S. Embassy in Armenia entrusted PH International with another opportunity to implement the program again in Bagratshen and in a newly selected Aygehovit community.

So please welcome 40 lucky teenagers as they’ve already begun their #Access journey full of amazing adventures.

American Library and Training Center Community Event on “Vital Talks of Hope, Determination and Action” | 22 Nov 2022


On November 22, 2022, for the second time in 2022, the central conference hall of the Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University was full of over 130 students who attended the “Vital Talks of Hope, Determination and Action” event hosting 4 inspiring speakers: Ladislav Beranek, the Information Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, Gevorg Simonyan, the Head of the RA Probation Service, Narine Grigoryan, Actress and Director of the Armenian State Theater and Cinema, Honorable Artist of RA, and Sargis Stepanyan, Founding President of the RA Sports Federation for the Disabled, a three-time champion of the World Para-arm-wrestling Championship and a two-time champion of the European Para-arm-wrestling Championship, recipient of the Medal "For Courage", Lieutenant Colonel of RA Armed Forces.

Graduation Summer Camp and Certificate Award Ceremony for Two Access Groups from Ijevan and Bagratashen | 8 Sep 2022


On August 29-31, 2022 a 2, 5-day Graduation Summer Camp was organized for 40 Access Microscholarship Program students of Ijevan and Bagratashen schools.

During the camp the students had sessions on Time Management, Creative Thinking and Emotional Intelligence led by the expert-trainers as well as a session on Learning Love Idioms led by TESOl Certified English language teacher.

“Video Blogging” and “Debate Skills” trainings for Access Students | 10 May 2022


As an important effort to maximize the impact and sustainability of the resources created within the “AM Tavush Outreach Project”, the “American Library and Training Center” (ALTC) in Ijevan initiated trainings on “Video Blogging” (April 25-28, 2022) and “Debate Skills” (April 19, 20 and 22, 2022) for English Access Microscholarship Program students.

Video Blogging Training in the American Library and Training Center of Ijevan | 8 Feb 2021


On February 5-7, 2021 the American Library and Training Center of Ijevan, in cooperation with the "Media Initiatives Center" and the trainers Aren Avetisyan and Lilit Arakelyan, alumni of the Center's "I am the Media" program, organized a vlogging training for a group of young people from Ijevan and nearby villages of Tavush region of Armenia.

Access Summer Camps 2020 | 29 Aug 2020


Despite the challenges caused by the pandemic, throughout July 18 - 31, 2020, within the English Access Microscholarship component of the U.S.G-funded “AM Tavush Outreach” project, implemented by PH International (https://www.ph-int.org/), 60 Armenian students from 3 regional communities of Noyemberyan, Koghb and Berdavan in groups of 20 participated in 10-hour, 2-day online English summer camps.

U.S. Embassy Funded New American Library and Training Center Opened in Tavush | 20 Feb 2020


On February 20, 2020 Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Lia Miller, alongside the Governor of Tavush Province, Hayk Chobanyan, and Country Director of Project Harmony International Armenia Office, Mariam Martirosyan, officially opened the American Library and Training Center – a new learning hub in Ijevan supported by the U.S. Embassy and housed at the Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University.
