In the framework of "Month of Safer Internet" social campaign in Ukraine that was initiated by Microsoft Ukraine Company, on February 17 the training "Safety Online" was held in Cherkasy IDEA Center in the partnership with Cherkasy Oblast Youth Resource Center and Regional NGO Social Partnership Center .
The event was prepared by Sergiy Slinko, volunteer-trainer of the IDEA Center and certified trainer of the "Children's Safety Online" Program in Cherkasy.
The main goal of the training was to show and explain all risks that can wait in the world wide web.
Thai is why all personal data should be layed out in the Internet cautiously. Besides the real situation of dangerous Internet was highlighted to the participants of the training, how to make Internet safer, ethical, educational, cognitive for all contemporary users of all ages and status.
The issues of safer Internet are not so far in Ukraine nowadays. Every year the audience of internet users is increasing and the majority of it makes young generation that do not realize the threat of virtual space.
