Georgia | Momavlis Taoba - Civic Education Program | 27 Jul 2015

Media school was organized for 24 students from MT program partner schools of Imereti region. During a week, media school participants visited newspaper “P.S.” and “Mega TV” office, met with journalists and attended trainings in social media and debates.
In addition to trainings, students got engaged in practical work – they tried to write articles, prepared video materials for TV and interviewed respondents.  Articles prepared by students were published on the web page of newspaper “P.S”.
“Internship and media school was very interesting, I felt myself like an experienced journalist” –said Nutsa Chkobadze, a student from Tkachiri public school.
“I am very glad that students has internship opportunity at our media agency. They already published articles, I think this cooperation will be continued” – said Nato Gubeladze, editor of the newspaper “P.S.”
Media school took place in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International
