To reduce the possibility of  COVID 19 spread among school children, in line with epidemiological measures for schools in Posavina Canton, this activity which normally gathers students from several schools in the project was organized for students of only one school. The introductory activity was conducted by the Department of Crime Technique and Counter-Diversion Protection within the Posavina Canton Ministry of Interior presenting the tools of their trade.  Students had fun learning how to take fingerprints, how samples from the crime scene are taken and how suspicious substances are tested to determine presence of narcotics. In the second part of the activity, the students worked in groups with police officers and then gave their own presentations on the above topics.

Due to COVID-19 travel and gathering restrictions imposed in several Cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the planned number of participants in the Center had to be kept below 50 while others watched using Zoom platform. Introductory speech by the BLSP Program Director, Dr. Nedžada Faginović was followed by a video prepared by the students from the “Fourth  Elementary School” in Mostar highlighting what they liked about the LSP. The program  continued as an interactive event with live musical intermezzos alternating with presentations given by four panels of participants from different cities and institutions (ministries, schools and police) who were involved in in the project in their capacities as Curriculum Development Team members, Teaching Teams or Trainers. A Zoom interview was conducted with Dr Nina Bosankić focusing on the goals, the highlights and the main findings of the BLSP external evaluation. The program ended with short presentation of BLSP team and a refreshment organized in the hall of the Center. The Conference was recorded in Bosnian and in English language and the recordings will be forwarded to all participants and hopefully uploaded to the program website.

TVSA used the opportunity to interview stakeholder representatives from all cantons and included those interviews in a thirty-minute TV show on the BLSP which was produced and posted on their YouTube webpage in January 2022:
