Nune Amiryan
AM CALLS Community Grants Manager

Nune joined PH International in October 2003 as Partnership Coordinator within the Armenia School Connectivity Program (ASCP) funded by the US State Department, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. In 2005 she led 23 secondary school teachers to the US within the School Partner Exchange. The same year she took over the position of a manager of the Community Connections (CC) Program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In her capacity as the CC Program Manager she led the implementation of all components of the program in Armenia, such as identification and write up of Visitor Exchange concepts, arranging promotion for each thematic competition, recruitment and orientation of target groups, reporting, etc. Prior to her experience with the PH International, Nune has worked with a number of other international organizations, including the NGO Center, UN, Catholic Relief Services (CRS). In the period of 2011-2013 Nune worked at the Danish organization Mission East as Education Projects Coordinator where she was in charge of the capacity building of the partner organization by providing close oversight to the projects implemented by them. In 2013 Nune re-joined PH International in the capacity of Community Projects Manager. In this position Nune is responsible for small grants awards and community dialogue components within the INL funded ARM CALLS project .

Nune Amiryan graduated from the Yerevan State University, Department of Romance and Germanic Languages in 1986 with the qualification of English language teacher and translator. In the following years she enriched her qualifications through participating in different trainings and meetings (Project Proposal Development, Leadership and Management, Effective Training Manager, Education Net meeting in Macedonia, etc) provided by various international organizations, and hands on experience gained in the above mentioned organizations.
