Our work in Armenia

PH International began operations in Armenia in 2000, and has since implemented a number of high-profile projects focused on rural development, secondary education, professional development, information technologies, and juveniles’ legal socialization. Responding to the needs of communities, PH International works in partnership with local Ministries, regional government authorities and international and local organizations to support grassroots development throughout all regions of the country.

PH International’s work in Armenia has include implementation of U.S. State Department sponsored Internet Community Development Program, Armenia School Connectivity Programs, and the Gegharkunik region Teachers’ Computer Literacy Consultancy (TCON) organized within the framework of the WB-funded RA Education Quality and Relevance Program. The objective of all abovementioned undertakings was to introduce modern Information Technologies into Armenian communities in innovative, sustainable ways, with a focus on educators, students and minority populations.

Through collaborative activities with its diverse partners PH International continues to expand its activities in Armenia. Currently the following 3 Programs are administered in Armenia: ZANG Armenian Legal Socialization Program, Community Connections Program and the DOTCOM Program (Developing Online Tools for Community Outreach and Mobilization).
