About

The Russian Youth Environmental Program is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs. PH International will implement two four-week exchanges in the United States during the Summers of 2016, 2017 and 2018. Each summer 40 English-speaking Russian university students interested in environmental sustainability and selected through a careful application and interview process will participate in the program.

PH has partnered with Sustainable Learning, Inc. who will organize a 10 day Environmental Sustainability Institute at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. The Russian youth will then spend 10 days in Vermont staying with host families and participating in service-learning days with local environmentally focused organizations and buisinesses. The exchange will conclude with a visit to Washington, D.C. for cultural activities, site visits and a program debrief.
