About

The Russian Youth Environmental Program is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs. PH International will implement two four-week exchanges in the United States during the Summer of 2016 for a total of 40 Russian youth focusing on environmental sustainability.

PH has partnered with Sustainable Learning, Inc. who will organize a one-week Environmental Sustainability Institute at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. The Russian youth will then spend two-weeks in Vermont participating in a workshop organized by the University of Vermont’s 4-H and Youth Extension Program to prepare participants for their community service experiences the following week. The exchange will conclude with a visit to Washington, D.C. for cultural activities, site visits and a program debrief.
