Success:
Intel Teach Educational Center for teachers has been open at school since the year 2003. By the present moment about 150 teachers have been taught there, half of them are the teachers of school N57 - 70% of all the school staff.

Overview:
Irkutsk secondary school N57 curriculum priority is effective use of new information technologies and incorporation of project methodology into educational process.
Intel Teach Educational Center for teachers has been open at school since the year 2003. By the present moment about 150 teachers have been taught there, half of them are the teachers of school N57 - 70% of all the school staff.
Training on the program inspired the teachers a great deal. A new community formed at school – “Intel Teachers community”. And computer class timetable now has a new line – “Consultations on projects”. Moreover it should be mentioned that the quality of students’ knowledge on those subjects, where project methodologies were actively used, improved.
Now the teachers regularly take part in city and region Intel Teach Program conferences and contest which they become winners and laureates of.
Recently students’ project activity has been introduced at school as a form of final examination. Children present lots of research projects on History, Geography, Biology, English language, Literature, Music and other subjects at exams, school, city and regional conferences.
As for the teachers they work in distant projects, study social services Web 2.0, involving in their activity more and more new participants.
As a result of teachers and students’ joint project activity Elena Orlova, IT teacher, won the contest “My students’ success story” and was invited to international workshop in Saint-Petersburg in October of 2004.
In 2005 Elena won the all-Russian contest “Educational Project - In Focus” with her project “Happy Beans”, she was awarded an invitation to “RELARN-2005” conference. But professional growth of the teacher continues – as a certified tutor she trains the teachers of the city and the region, holds seminars on the Program and works as competitive educational projects expert.
In 2007 Elena was given the monetary prize for Russia’s best teachers in the National Project “Education” for her professionalism and pedagogical skills.

Elena is strongly convinced that it was the Intel Teach Program that helped her and the school to achieve such success.
