Overview
With the help of students from Dimitrovgrad Comprehensive High School, Anatoliy Mamon not only acquired good computer skills but also began using them to help his ailing wife not to lose heart, teaching her how to use modern information technologies.

When Anatoliy Mamon first talked to Ekaterina Toneyeva, the trainer of the Tvoy Kurs Center based in the Dimitrovgrad Comprehensive High School, saying he didn’t believe e-skills were so very necessary for senior citizens, she encouraged him to attend the first session of the Tvoy Kurs course and see for himself. As the result, Anatoliy got really interested and happily embarked on his digital journey. Soon, however, his wife fell ill and, since she required constant care, he thought he would have to forget about computer skills. However this is where Ekaterina Toneyeva and her students came to his rescue. High schoolers helped Anatoliy and his wife to choose and buy a personal computer, and one of the young volunteers, Matvei Semyonov, started coming over to their house and teaching them the basics of digital literacy. Both retirees were very grateful for this support. By now Anatoliy has successfully passed the Digital Literacy Test and received his Digital Literacy Certificate. His wife has also decided to acquire computer skills and is now taking the Tvoy Kurs course with the help of her husband. But what’s even better, both of them know that if they ever have any computer-related questions or difficulties, Matvei and his friends will always be there, ready to help.
