Cisco Entrepreneur Institute in Stavropol has finished the course "Starting a Business"

On July 16, 2011 students of the North Caucasus State Technical University in Stavropol have completed the course “Starting a Business”. The goal of the course was to give current and future entrepreneurs the necessary knowledge and skills needed to help them start and develop small and medium-size businesses in the North Caucasus Region.

33 students took part in the course. There were 17 students and 4 professors of the North Caucasus State Technical University and 12 managers of small companies in Stavropol region.

Valentina Parakhina, PhD, Chair of Management Department, taught the module called Evaluating Business Potential. Another experienced professor of Management, Olga Padalka, PhD, taught the module focusing on Business Plans Module.

Students of the North Caucasus State Technical University, Dmitry Ribalko, Anna Jerlitsina, Maria Gapochkina, Iraida Stepanyan, and managers, Marina Yurova, Nicolay Plastamakin, and Svetlana Orlova created the most interesting business projects.
