About
This Forevase Participant Training Program was a U.S. government initiative, managed by USAID, to support peer-to-peer exchanges under the aegis of the U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission (BPC) established by Presidents Obama and Medvedev in 2009. The United States and Russia have much to learn from each other and greater cooperation is needed to more effectively address challenges that both countries face. This project supported a two-way exchange of skills and lessons learned in areas identified as priorities by the BPC. The purpose of the project was to support implementation of the Bilateral Presidential Commission (BPC) through capacity building activities in the areas of civil society, business development, environment, health, and other areas. | ![]() |
