Civics Club Students of Tbilisi public school #217 marked World AIDs Day.
The students conducted an information campaign, “AIDs is not a verdict”, to raise awareness about HIV/AIDs among the students and teachers of the school. They held research to learn the level of awareness among the students and school personnel and relayed the results in an organized presentation of the information and video about the transmission, prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. The video was also shared through social media to reach a bigger audience. At the end of the campaign, the students organized an exhibition of posters at school. The message of the exhibition was reducing stigma and discrimination around HIV and AIDs.
