Civics Online Conference with a Georgian Writer

On June 14, online conference for students was held at Tbilisi Multimedia Education Center. Dato Turashvili, prominent Georgian writer, was guest speaker of the conference.

During online conference, the writer spoke about his own civic involvement experience as a student, covered the importance of civic awareness and civic activism for the development of the democracy in Georgia. He also covered his life, his works and answered questions of many students from different regions of Georgia.

A total of 150 students from different locations remotely took part in online conference. In addition to questions asked by students from Tbilisi directly in the studio, students from regions were also very active in communicating their questions via skype. 

Online conference was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
