Georgia | Momavlis Taoba - Civic Education Program | 12 Feb 2016

On February 10, young citizens, winners of MT’s blog contest from different regions of Georgia were awarded for their blogs in thematic nominations, such as Young Volunteer, Young Ombudsman, Environmental Defender, Citizen Journalist, Healthy Lifestyle Advocate and Young Educator.

Event took place at Multimedia Education Center in Tbilisi and brought together 14 winner students together with the members of the selection committee. Selection Committee comprised of the representatives from the  Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection, Georgian Alliance for the Safe Roads, Centers for Civic Engagement, IREX Georgia, and Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association.  

The blog contest was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
