Civics Students Rehabilitate Event Hall at School

Georgia | Momavlis Taoba - Civic Education Program | 25 Aug 2015

Rehabilitation of the Event Hall at Tbilisi public school #132 was initiated by civics students in the framework of the Momavlis Taoba mini-grant project. Parents, teachers and students are involved in project implementation, while school administration provides the needed support for rehabilitation works. Students will stage a performance at Akmeteli Theater in Tbilisi to get additional funds for the project. Tickets for the performance were purchased by parents, teachers and community members. Civics teacher Natia Macharashvili is negotiating with the representatives of Gldani Municipality to obtain their support.

For the new academic year the school will have a new event hall to where activities and events for students will be held.

The initiative was supported by the mini-grant in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, implemented by PH International.
