Georgia | Momavlis Taoba - Civic Education Program | 19 Jun 2015

On June 17, civics clubs students from Tbilisi gathered in hotel “444” to organize fun activities for 14 children, affected by Tbilisi flood.
“We thought these children really need to have fun after those hard days” – said Giorgi Khipshidze, student of Tbilisi public school #29.
Students and children played and engaged in fun activities together. Local community members and their children also took part in the action.
“It was indeed a great idea for these children” – said a parent from flood-affected family.
Representatives of local municipality helped with organization of this action.
Students plan to continue their efforts in the future as well.
