Jinvali students for better environment

Georgia | Momavlis Taoba - Civic Education Program | 11 May 2015

Civics club students of Jinvali public school decided to improve environment in their village. They organized a presentation of the film and discussion on ecology. Students have also mobilized their peers and cleaned the school yard and the territory around historical monument - Jvari. As a result of successful cooperation with the local administration, students received tree seedlings for their greening action. 28 trees were planted in the school yard. Students will take care of the newly-planted trees.

The initiative was organized in the framework of USAID-funded MomavlisTaoba Program, which is implemented by PH International.
