Students Promote Civic Education Among Peers

Georgia | Momavlis Taoba - Civic Education Program | 20 Feb 2015

Civics Club students of the village Sachamiaseri public school organized a quiz aimed at promoting civic education among their peers. Students asked teachers of civics, history, geography and literature for help in the development of quiz questions. First quiz was held among the students of 10th through 12th grades.

Afterwards, student members of school civics clubs trained younger students in civics and initiated a follow-up quiz. Over 50 students took part in this initiative, which was supported by teachers, parents and school administration officials as well.

Activity was organized in the framework of USAID funded Momavlis Taoba Program, which is implemented by PH International.
