Exhibition of students’ works on -”Government and Violence”

On January 29 Akhaltsikhe Art School hosted exhibition - “Government and Violence” - of students’ drawings. Students from 14 partner schools from Samtskhe-Javakheti region presented their works to expressed their attitude towards violence and terrorism and emphasize the role of government in the fight of violence.

Visitors of the exhibition included the representatives of the local government,educational resource centers, non-governmental organizations, students, teachers, school administration officials and media. Authors of the pictures explained to visitors what they wanted to say with their works.

At the end of the event the best three works were identified and authors were awarded with symbolic prizes.

The event was organized in the framework of USAID-funded “Momavlis Taoba” project, which is implemented by PH International.
