GE-CALLS-funded project For Healthy Future works actively in Telavi, Kakheti Region. In the framework of the project a media-lab was founded and equipped, so that the project participants can learn basics of video shooting, editing, directing and script-writing and practice acquired knowledge. Project envisages production of 5 short video-films made by project participants on various subjects. In order to select subjects for videos participants were delivered trainings on legal and psychological issues as well as on healthy lifestyle. Alongside with theoretical trainings, participants were involved in technical workshops in order to acquire skills and knowledge for script-writing, video shooting and editing. Project staff also managed to bring a guest-trainer – video editor Levan Uchaneishvili, who delivered master class on the subject. The first video-film comprises two subjects: healthy lifestyle and false alarm. After test-shots students chose participants for the first video. During the whole period the students were supported by the project staff. Working on the first video was finished early in February. On February 11 project participants presented the video to peers at Telavi Civic Engagement Center.
