83 GNML Online Certificates of Completion Awarded to A-SMYLE, FLEX, and YES Students
The successful second year of GNML Online, a component of Global New Media Lab ended in April. The seven month online Social Media for Social Change training program engaged students independently to work with eight social media platforms: Blogger, RSS, Google Alerts, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The U.S. Department of State and PH International proudly awarded 83 GNML Online Certificates of Completion to A-SMYLE, FLEX, and YES students currently living throughout the nation.
Students receiving Certificates of Completion have completed a professional Social Media for Social Change Campaign. In additional to completing all social media platform sessions, successful students also developed their blog content through posting at least six blogs relating to current events about their social issue. We encourage all GNML Online students to continue building their Social Media for Social Change Campaigns and to teach others when they return home from their year abroad in the United States! Congratulations to all participants!
