Civics clubs discuss management of personal finances with Microfinance Organization “Crystal”

Georgia | Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program for Georgia | 8 Apr 2014

On March 14, 2014 students from different civics clubs met with Archil Bakuradze, the Chairman of Supervisory Board of micro-finance organization “Crystal” to talk about the management of personal finances. Students found the meeting to be very interesting and useful, since they do not learn personal finance management at school, but critically need such knowledge in their daily lives. They have asked Mr. Bakuradze to provide more educational opportunities for their peers and expressed an interest in becoming peer educators in personal finance planning and management. The meeting took place at public school #45 in Tbilisi. Meeting was held in the framework of the Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training Program, which is implemented by PH International in Georgia.
